Childbirth Classes
To help meet the needs of your growing family, the Center for Women’s Health at The Longstreet Clinic is pleased to offer this opportunity for new and experienced parents to prepare for the birth of their child. By attending the classes and preparing for childbirth, you will learn what to expect and how to work with the labor process. We offer a choice of either a series of four classes on Wednesday evenings or two classes on Saturdays. Both classes offer the same content and include a hospital tour.

Breastfeeding Classes
In support of the many benefits of breastfeeding for mother and baby, the Center for Women’s Health at The Longstreet Clinic offers an introduction to breastfeeding for our patients. Class size is limited so that you can practice breastfeeding techniques and ask questions freely. Specifically, you learn how to begin breastfeeding at the hospital and continue breastfeeding after you return home. Each participant receives a booklet on beginning breastfeeding and other materials.
