Dyer earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She also is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the national honor society of nursing.
