Family medicine is the medical specialty which provides continuing, comprehensive health care for the individual and family. 

Oakwood Family Medicine is now offering extended hours. Visit us Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. No appointment necessary! We are committed to providing the highest quality care possible and are proud to offer more convenient times and services for our patients. 

The Longstreet Clinic's Department of Family Medicine provides a wide range of services at the Oakwood facility for patients of all ages. Some of the common services provided by our team of family physicians and staff include:

Patient-Centered Medical Home Program

On March 12, 2012, The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) announced that TLC's Department of Family Medicine in Oakwood had been certified as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home Program, an innovative program for improving primary care. The Longstreet Clinic is the first practice in Northeast Georgia and only the tenth in the state to receive this level of PCMH recognition. Read the entire press release.
