Georgia Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgery is led by Amy Borrow, M.D. and Stephen Fisher, M.D., experienced surgeons who are certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and subspecialty certified in sports medicine.
Dr. Borrow and Dr. Fisher bring their combined 18 years of orthopaedic and sports medicine experience to The Longstreet Clinic in order to help patients and athletes of all ages return to activity and competing at the highest level.
Dr. Borrow earned her medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed her internship and orthopaedic residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami. In addition, she completed a sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala., under the direction of renowned surgeon Dr. James Andrews.
Dr. Fisher earned his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Wayne State University – Detroit Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident. In addition, Dr. Fisher completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the Lake Tahoe Orthopaedic Institute in Nevada.
The Longstreet Clinic, P.C., incorporated in 1995, is a fully-integrated multi-specialty medical group owned and managed by physicians. The group has grown to include approximately 100 physicians and 60 nurse practitioners, physicians assistants and certified nurse midwives.
