Gynecologic Ultrasound

Ultrasounds use high frequency sound waves, which cannot be heard by the human ear, to examine a woman’s pelvic organs. It is the most effective and reliable technique used to see women’s internal organs.
 
The Center for Women’s Health offers both obstetrical ultrasounds and gynecological ultrasounds. Due to modern medicine and improvements in sonographic technology, it is no longer required for women to have a fully distended (full) bladder to conduct an ultrasound. Ultrasounds can be used during gynecological exams to screen for:  
TLC offers the most up to date technology for ultrasounds. We have private exam rooms for changing and screening. Our ultrasounds are conducted by certified and registered ultrasound technicians who are trained in patient care.
