Center for Pediatrics announces open house at new Baldwin office

The Center for Pediatrics at The Longstreet Clinic will host an open house at its new, expanded Baldwin office from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 16. A ribbon cutting with the Habersham County Chamber of Commerce will get the festivities under way at 4 p.m. The public is invited to tour the new office and meet our experienced pediatricians, mid-level providers and staff.

The new, 6,500-square-foot location, which opened this Summer, was built behind the practice’s former office on Professional Drive. The former 2,400-square-foot office originally opened in May 1996.

The Center for Pediatrics, with its 14 physicians, 11 mid-level providers and five locations, is the first pediatric practice in Northeast Georgia to be certified as Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home Programs by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) using the group’s 2011 standards.

A patient-centered medical home is a comprehensive approach to providing quality primary care. The Center for Pediatrics at The Longstreet Clinic, P.C., works in partnership with each child and his or her family to ensure all medical needs are met. Through this partnership, the pediatric team helps the patient and his or her family access and understand specialty care and other educational/community services.

“The Center for Pediatrics is proud to provide accessible, comprehensive family-centered care to each child we treat,” said Eugene Cindea, M.D., chairman of the pediatrics department at The Longstreet Clinic.

The Center for Pediatrics is located at 155 Professional Drive in Baldwin. To RSVP for the open house, or more information, contact 706-776-2368 or click here. TLC’s pediatricians also treat patients at offices in Gainesville, Oakwood, Braselton and Buford.

The Longstreet Clinic, P.C. (TLC), is an independent multi-specialty medical group owned and managed by physicians. Since 1995, TLC has grown to include more than 150 providers in some 16 specialties at locations in eight Northeast Georgia cities. TLC consistently ranks as one of the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Top Physician Group Practices and is the third largest independent practice in Metro Atlanta.
