Nurse Practitioners
Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) who have completed graduate-level education. To become licensed to practice, NPs must receive national board certification in an area of specialty (such as family, women's health, pediatrics), and are licensed by the Georgia Board of Nursing. TLC’s certified nurse practitioners focus on individualized patient care and work with a team of physicians to provide the highest quality medical care in multiple specialties. All 10 of TLC's certified nurse midwives hold master’s degrees in nursing. TLC’s certified nurse midwives work in conjunction with our obstetricians and gynecologists to provide a full spectrum of expert medical care for women.
