Clinic welcomes two new physicians

Longstreet Clinic is pleased to welcome two new physicians to its growing practice.

Meena A. Demtrios, M.D., recently joined Longstreet Clinic Obstetrics & Gynecology. His primary location will be in Gainesville, but he will also see patients at Longstreet offices in Braselton and Baldwin.

Erum Farooqi, M.D., a board-certified internist, is now practicing at Longstreet Clinic Internal Medicine in Gainesville.

Farooqi is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She completed her training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Farooqi joins Longstreet Clinic with nearly 10 years of experience in the field of Internal Medicine.

Demetrios completed his bachelor’s degree at Georgia State University in Atlanta. He earned his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences, St. Kitts, and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, Mich. He is board-eligible with the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr. Demetrios has medical staff privileges at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. He previously practiced as a physician in Michigan and Georgia, and has worked as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at Mercer University in Macon.
