Practice History
Dr. Torrent joined Longstreet Clinic Vascular & Vein in May 2023 after practicing as a vascular surgeon in Virginia since 2020. Before moving to Georgia, Daniel Torrent, MD, MPH, FACS, was an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine where he was a member of the Carilion Clinic Aortic Center specializing in complex endovascular and open interventions across the spectrum of vascular surgery. He is a published author in academic journals and is active in leadership of vascular surgery at a national level as a member of the Quality Improvement Committee and the Vice Chair of the Section for Ambulatory Vascular Surgery for the Society for Vascular Surgery.
