The Center for Women’s Health at The Longstreet Clinic, P.C., is pleased to welcome Amanda Driskell, CNM, as its newest certified nurse midwife.
Driskell earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at North Georgia College & State University and her master’s degree in midwifery at Emory University. She joins TLC after working as a CNM at Roswell OB/GYN since 2005.
Certified Nurse Midwives are licensed healthcare practitioners educated in both nursing and midwifery. Before being allowed to practice, CNMs must graduate from an accredited program and pass a rigorous national certification exam. All of TLC’s certified nurse midwives hold master’s degrees in nursing.
The Center for Women’s Health’s team of board certified physicians, certified nurse midwives and certified nurse practitioners provide a complete spectrum of obstetrical, gynecologic and women’s surgical care at locations in Gainesville, Baldwin, Braselton and Dahlonega.
