The Longstreet Clinic, P.C., is pleased to announce the opening of our new Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine office in Buford. Amy E. Borrow, M.D., and Stephen R. Fisher, M.D., are accepting new and established patients at the office off Lanier Islands Parkway, after practicing in Gainesville for several years.
Dr. Borrow and Dr. Fisher and the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce will welcome the community for a Business Before Hours/Open House on Dec. 2 from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. Visitors can meet the physicians and tour the new office, plus enjoy a complimentary light breakfast and enter to win door prizes.

Dr. Borrow earned her medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed her internship and orthopaedic residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami. In addition, she completed a sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala., under the direction of renowned surgeon Dr. James Andrews.
Dr. Borrow is board-certified and has nearly six years experience as an orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine expert in Northeast Georgia. She is a fellow with both the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. She serves on the Surgical Services Executive Committee and the Practice Review Committee at Northeast Georgia Medical Center and is a reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine.
Stephen R. Fisher, M.D., earned his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Wayne State University – Detroit Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident. In addition, Dr. Fisher completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the Lake Tahoe Orthopaedic Institute in Nevada.
Dr. Fisher is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has nearly 10 years of experience as an orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine expert. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Georgia State Medical Society. Dr. Fisher also has medical staff privileges at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
