Neuroscience & Orthopedic Center
Combining expertise to help treat you
The human body is amazing, but, at some point, we all start to feel the effects of time and aging. And, sometimes gradually, sometimes suddenly, we find our bodies don’t respond like they used to. When our bodies experience tedious aches or injuries that simply will not heal on their own – at least not the way they used to – it is easy to get frustrated or disheartened. The good news is that, with the right care, there is no reason to let discomfort and/or injury change your active lifestyle.
No matter your situation, whether it be an acute injury (a torn ligament or broken bone), or pain from years of activity (including backache, nerve disorders, or degenerative joints), the specialists at Longstreet Clinic’s Neuroscience & Orthopedic Center have you covered head to toe. Our goal is to get you back to moving freely and without pain so that you can keep up with the lifestyle you want to maintain. It is a unique, head-to-toe approach to medicine that is both cutting-edge and comprehensive.
Longstreet Clinic created the Neuroscience & Orthopedic Center to offer you an innovative approach to attaining the best physical health possible. Here, our experts work together as one team in order to diagnose, treat, and help you maximize recovery and maintain health. Through our patient-centered, multispecialty approach our goal is to help you address whatever physical problems are limiting you.
By creating a center that features multiple specialties and services under one roof – including Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Interventional Pain Management, Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy –Longstreet Clinic Neuroscience & Orthopedic Center provides a comprehensive care program not offered anywhere else in north Georgia.
This means that no matter what might be troubling your body, we’ll use our specialized training and leading-edge technology to diagnose it and treat it so that you can recover and get back to living your best life.
HOW DOES THE NEUROSCIENCE & ORTHOPEDIC CENTER WORK?
In the past you may have had to visit three different specialists in three different offices for treatment of a bad back or torn ligament. The Neuroscience & Orthopedic Center makes all that travel and scheduling a thing of the past.
Because we have a provider team that includes orthopedists and orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine doctors, physiatrists, neurosurgeons, interventional pain specialists, and physical therapists all working together – and supported by a knowledgeable clinical staff with onsite access to the latest technology – Longstreet Clinic’s Neuroscience & Orthopedic Center can address almost any type of musculoskeletal or neurological concern. So, whether your back is becoming a chronic problem, or you’ve broken a bone, torn a ligament, or suffered nerve damage, our experts are ready to help.
For example, say you injure your knee. In the past, you may have scheduled an appointment with your doctor about the discomfort – only for him to send you an orthopedist in another location on another date. From there, that orthopedist may need to schedule imaging – again on a different date in a different building. And, depending upon imaging results, the orthopedist may then recommend a surgeon in yet another office. Once the surgery is completed, you then face the prospect of traveling to a physical therapist in another facility that knows little to nothing about your journey. Thanks to the Neuroscience & Orthopedic Center, that entire process can take place (outside of a surgical procedure) in one facility. And it all happens under the watchful eye of care providers that are in constant communication about your needs and situation.
Longstreet Clinic is excited to provide this innovative, comprehensive care to you here in north Georgia.
