Updated screening procedures for sick visits

Please call ahead if you are sick.

Due to a sharp rise in COVID-19, flu and other infections in our community, Longstreet Clinic will temporarily adjust our sick visit protocols and screening processes for the safety of all patients, staff and visitors.

If you are sick or feeling unwell, please call your provider’s office. Based on your symptoms, you may be directed to a telehealth/video visit. If appropriate, your provider may order testing via our drive thru location in Gainesville.

If you are displaying symptoms or suspect you may have COVID-19, please do not enter the building. If you cannot reach your provider or do not have one, please call 678-207-4444 so that we can arrange a video visit and order testing if appropriate.

For those who do walk in for Urgent Care in Gainesville, you will be directed to a screening station in our atrium, located in Building A near the Broad Street entrance (former Chick-fil-A counter). Based on your symptoms, you may be directed back to your car to complete a video visit/telehealth call.

If you are visiting for another reason or appointment in a different department or office location, you may also be screened upon entering the building and upon check-in.

Please remember that masks are required for all patients, visitors and staff regardless of vaccination status (per CDC recommendations for healthcare facilities).

We apologize for any inconvenience as we follow CDC-recommended guidelines to protect the health and safety of all of our patients and staff.
