Information about vaccination

According to information from the CDC, children younger than 12 receive a separate formulation that has one-third the dose given to adolescents and adults, and will receive the vaccine with a smaller needle. For more information about differences in formulation and dosage, click here.

On Nov. 16, 2021, Longstreet Clinic Pediatrics, Northeast Georgia Health System, Northeast Georgia Physician Group and District 2 Public Health hosted an information session to answer commonly asked questions about vaccinating young children against COVID-19.
