Telehealth

Longstreet Clinic Center for Weight Management’s telehealth options make accessing our experienced staff and providers easier than ever. Below is a sample of the appointment schedule of a typical patient journey. As you can see, more than 60% of the initial journey can be conducted via video visits with 100% of the yearly follow-up visits being able to be conducted from wherever life may take you.

  • Initial consultation**
  • Medically supervised visits with dietitian if required by insurance**
  • Meet with bariatric navigator
  • Nurse visit for weight and psychology testing (completed same day as meeting bariatric navigator)
  • Psychology screening/interview**
  • Nutrition consult with dietitian**
  • Surgery pre-op appointment
  • Surgery
  • 1 week post-op appointment
  • Follow up appointments at 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 2 years, then yearly thereafter for lifetime**

NOTE: Each patient’s journey is unique. Your personal schedule will be determined based off the weight loss path you choose and your personal health considerations.

Fast Track

To save time and help speed up the timeline to surgery, once a month we offer a fast track program where patients are able to come to the office for a half day session and complete many of the required medical education and pre-surgery testing required to be approved for surgery. This option is for self pay and qualified patients. Be sure to ask your provider if it is right for you.
