Neurosurgeon Hazzard joins TLC

The Longstreet Clinic, P.C., is pleased to announce that Matthew A. Hazzard, M.D., has joined its Department of Neurosurgery.

Hazzard earned his medical degree from Indiana University after completing his bachelor’s degree at Spring Arbor University. He completed residency training in neurological surgery at Duke University, where he served as chief resident and completed an enfolded fellowship in surgical pain management. Hazzard is board eligible with the American Board of Neurological Surgery.

He joins the practice of Nabil Muhanna, M.D.Bruce Nixon, M.D.Karl Schultz, Jr., M.D., and Betsy Grunch, M.D. They specialize in the latest, most advanced technology and minimally invasive techniques to diagnose and treat many diseases and injuries of the brain, spinal cord and nerves.

Hazzard is welcoming new patients at offices in Gainesville and Braselton. He also has medical staff privileges at Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s Gainesville and Braseltonlocations, as well as Gainesville Surgery Center. Hazzard and his wife, Lindsey, live in Braselton with their 19-month-old daughter, Juliana Mae.
